September, 2019

Before the Beginning of Smart FBA

Hunt trained VAs in Cebu, Philipines, for six months.

Q1, 2020

The Beginning

Smart FBA's inception came out. After back testing for nearly a year prior, we decided to launch our own Amazon FBA company with the vision of helping client's with Amazon wholesale.

Q2, 2020

Warehouse Expansion

As our operation began to rapidly expand, we decided to get our first warehouse near Gresam, Oregon.

Second Warehouse

With rapid service growth, we decided to add on another warehouse to have enough space for client needs.

Smart FBA gains recognition USA wide, getting featured in Forbes directly.

London Expansion

Smart FBA expanded globally, servicing London, UK clients/service expansions.

Q1, 2023

Omni Package

We decided to offer an OMNI service, taking advantage of other platforms such as eBay, Mercari and Poshmark to take advantage of other marketplaces.

Q2, 2023

Texas Office

Smart FBA acquires and office in Dallas, hosting several in person events, meetings and other corporate events.

Q1, 2024

Smart Label Launched

After several back testing periods and thousands of requests, Smart Label is created to service clients looking to get involved in Private Label.

Hunt takes over Smart FBA and Smart Wholesale. Starting on Day 1, Hunt decreased client merchandise costs and moved key people into new positions. A new sourcing manager was recruited and hired by Hunt. She alone sourced products for a single store that produced more than $12 million gross per year prior to joining Smart FBA.

Hunt has implemented measures that directly benefit clients. By optimizing and improving cost-of-goods margins, Smart FBA is enhancing potential profitability for sellers across the board. In addition to better wholesale prices, the introduction of new product categories expands market reach, diversifies product revenue streams, and positions clients' potential for sustained growth.

The rollout of new brand and wholesale partnerships will enrich product offerings and strengthen market positioning while providing clients with access to a broader range of high-quality, in-demand merchandise.

On Day 7, Hunt implemented new OA lists and pack and prep solutions for Amazon Wholesale clients who wish to transition and select their own products from hundreds of items.

CEO

Participated in the Executive MBA Program at Texas A&M Commerce. Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Capella University with a Bachelor of Science. Provided strategic consultancy services to publicly traded companies, specializing in ecommerce, app development, strategy formulation, and advanced analytics. Previous teamwork was featured by MIT, CNBC and WFAA.
Accumulated more than 50 certifications spanning artificial intelligence, machine learning, project management, Google Analytics & Tag Manager. Spearheaded the development and optimization of over 1000 Amazon Stores prior to the formation of Smart FBA Inc.

Dr. Richie Thomas

Head of research and development

PhD in implementation Science. Senior role with Smart FBA having been working here since June 2020. Oversees all product research divisions, warehouse staff, supply chain, supplier relations and logistics.

Iwan Setiawan

Systems Director

Masters In Management Information and Implementation Science since 2006. Creating IT strategies that create a cohesive motion for clients and business functions. In charge of communication channels, ensuring all departments are in-sync.

Coral Gonzalez

General Warehouse Manager

Manages the weekday crew at all 3 warehouses, ensuring all staff are meeting weekly KPIs, as well as creating objectives for the staff to follow. Coral has been working with Smart FBA since late 2020.

Taylor Mccquistion

Director of Finance

Accomplished business and data analyst focused on measuring profit and sales with meticulous attention to detail and dedication to customer service. Track record of success in quickly assessing clients’ store performance, and facilitating solutions that generate measurable results. Experience in diverse industries – finance, home mortgage, business management, merchandising, and inventory management.

Hillary Martin

Director of Product Sourcing

With a rich background spanning over seven years in navigating Amazon Seller Central procedures, she possesses a profound understanding of the intricacies of the Amazon ecosystem. Before Smart FBA, Hillary managed a store yielding an impressive annual gross revenue of $12 million. Having proudly served as the Operations Director at Smart FBA in 2023, and subsequently transitioning into the role of Director of Product Sourcing in June 2024, she offers invaluable expertise in Amazon operations and product procurement.

Regina Melling

Product Specialist

A seasoned professional with experience managing Amazon Seller Central’s backend processes. Regina excels in optimizing e-commerce operations, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with Amazon policies. Expertise in data analysis, strategic planning, and digital marketing enhances seller performance and drives business growth..

Sales Team

Bryan Andino

Graduated from Florida State University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Minor in Business. He chose not to pursue the traditional path of a career as a financial analyst to pursue a modern online venture. Previously in the Amazon space as a Private Label Seller now consulting prospective business owners in their own creation of Amazon Wholesale Businesses.

William Summerfield

Graduated from St Mary’s University in 2018 with an undergraduate and Masters’s degree in International Business Management, upon graduating he found his passion in helping people and initially working in the recruitment sector, helping people succeed and land their dream jobs, he gained a stellar reputation for his thoroughness. In 2019 he seamlessly transitioned into the eCommerce sector and has since helped hundreds of people create Amazon wholesale businesses.
